Foreword So I animate, as some of you may know, and I decided to try my hand at drawing some of the cats tonight, however when I went to the Warrior's wiki, the designs were... well, not to my liking. Thus, I've started this kinda project thing of drawing just about every cat. If there's a cat you'd like me to draw that I haven't yet, please tell me! There are a lot of kitties that slip through the cracks and get forgotten, and I don't want that to happen here. Also, if you're making a MAP or a collaborative thing and wanna use these designs, please let me know and feel free! I'd be honored for people to like these enough to use them honestly. Some notes; - When drawing leaders, I follow the generic pattern of putting a star on their forehead, however I color code them per clan. Thunderclan is Yellow, Riverclan is Blue, Windclan is Green, Shadowclan is Purple and Skyclan is a Seafoam color. - I also only ever really draw cats as their fully-grown designs, and not any kind of kit/apprentice appearance. If you wanna draw them as kits and want me to doodle a kind of kit design for a specific cat(s), let me know! - I'll be organizing these in Sections so it's easier to find who you're looking for. Gingercloud made a good point and I'll also be listing cats by book. Super editions will be exempt from this, and all cats that appear only in the super editions will be done last. - I make these designs based on the text for each cat on their Warriors Wiki page. I don't take the picture already drawn of them into account and base this 100% on the text and my own imagination. - Cats are put into their respective book categories for when they first appear in the series. Thus, this is why Firestar is in The Prophecies Begin; Into The Wild, instead of wherever he becomes Firestar. - As of me making this thread, I have only read through Omen Of The Stars (also a lot of the super editions). I can still draw cats from the other books, just tell me their names so I can look them up! Let's get to those cats!! ( I'll organize these soon BUT for now, you can see all the designs here in my stash. They'll be properly put onto the thread as soon as I have more kitties drawn! Link! ) Warriors: The Prophecies Begin (Currently Being Worked On.) Into The Wild
Fire And Ice
Forest Of Secrets
Rising Storm
A Dangerous Path
The Darkest Hour
Warriors: The New Prophecy (On Hold.)
Warriors: Power of Three (On Hold.)
Warriors: Omen of the Stars (On Hold.)
Warriors: Dawn of the Clans (On Hold.)
Warriors: A Vision of Shadows (On Hold.)
Super Editions (Placeholder? This one is definitely going to be done last of all of these.)

I've always been quite baffled by this to be honest, theirs nothing in Canon that supports this being a thing. Nothing in the main series arcs, nothing in the Field Guides, nothing in the Super Editions... Even the character designs in the "mangas" (These comics are graphic novels at best since they do not meet the standard definition of manga) don't show this "star on forehead for leaders" being a thing. So it's something purely fanmade and I've never understood why the leaders need some sort of special marking to signify their leadership status, as their suffix already marks them as leaders.
So cats who died as kits or apprentices won't be part of this project then?
Good. The Wiki allows far too much freedom when it comes to artistic representation of the cats. Basically anything that could be subject to interpretation is; Shade of fur color, pattern, eye color and even the direction that the eye is facing is a free for all in the name of "artists choice". This is appropriate for personal designs, but not for designs that are intended to be the "official" design. It's also plainly hypocritical that the Wiki allows for so many assumptions on these designs, but allow for none in the articles themselves.
Theirs nothing weird about this system at all, it's nothing but sensible. Although I should warn you, plenty of cats turn up out of nowhere, so it would probably be for the best to organize these cats by the book (And thus, the arc this book is a part of) they make their first allengency listing in. I would also like to note that Firestar becomes leader in The Darkest Hour, which is part of the first arc- The Prophecies Begin.
Well then, with your personal knowledge of Warriors being geared so late overall in the series, then I would definitely recommend reading thru the Wiki's book articles. Each book has an excellent plot summary that goes over the major plot points, and theirs articles that go further into what happened accessible from these pages. You could become decently knowledgeable in only a relatively short amount of time.
This forum is really geared towards a more mature audience, but I think you're artwork will be well-received here. Good luck!

I quite like your art!! I especially enjoy the color coding idea, just in case someone hasn't yet heard of a certain leader or something like that. ouo
If you're taking any suggestions/requests?; -Grey Wing (he was such a great character aahhh) -Jingo (underrated leader lady!) -Smudge (rusty's neighbor and legit the cutest puff of fat)
If you're not, I apologize for being the Random Intruder >v>

Whoa there's a lot of stuff to address!! I'm super happy people are interested in this project. <3 I know this is a fanmade thing, and I don't really use it much. I know people do, which is why I have the stars for reference, but I make sure to have the stars set aside from the actual cats, so if you don't use the stars, you don't have to and you can see the design underneath. As an example, here's Brambleclaw/Star's design. The star is next to his name, and not actually on his forehead. Link! They will! I just meant this for cats who have complex patterns; their pattern probably isn't the same when they were an adult and when they were a kit. Cats that died as apprentices/kits will be included, but if you're doing a MAP or something where it's a bunch of cats who are normally full grown (ex: Greystripe and Firestar) as kits/apprentices and want earlier designs for them, I can make those, I just need to be asked. <3 This is a great idea! I'll definitely need to do this, given there are a ton of cats. Thanks for the idea! I'm definitely going to be taking the time to be reading all of the plot summaries, and I'm hoping to get a hold on more of the books. Thank you so much for all the feedback, this is a huge help! <3 I quite like your art!! I noticed no one really had a system to pick out which leader is from what clan (I mean, most of the time people know, but I feel the color coding just sorta helps). I am for sure taking suggestions and requests, and I'm going to try to prioritize cats who are requested. Thanks for your request, I'll do these cats next! <3 Thanks again for the feedback!!! Wowsa I'm excited to do this project
