hey, everyone!
i'm cardinalstorm, but you can also refer to me as seafern or sea. that was my old nickname when i used to frequent the official warriors forums, back when they were up and running and i was much, much younger. but i decided, for this forum, it was time to change it up a bit. i discovered the link to this website a few days ago whilst browsing ailuronymy, and thought i might as well give it a go! i hope to develop some of my own clans, with a more richly cultured and diverse cast of characters who live in an equally interesting universe.
i've always been into literate role-playing and world-building, especially when it is centered around warriors. i've grown up with these books and have been reading them since i was eight years old, so they are near and dear to my heart (despite their numerous flaws and plot-holes!) however, i haven't really delved into such world-building for quite some time, as over the past few years i've been dealing with some mental health issues that have made it difficult to focus on my hobbies. whilst i still struggle, i'm back, and i figure this will be a good way to reignite that love i have for my childhood book series as well as building my skills as a writer, role-player, reader and overall cat nerd. i've read and own all of the books released so far, except for the field guide, battles of the clans and the newly released super edition, hawkwing's journey. don't worry about spoilers with me! c; out of the whole series, i would have to say my favourite cats would be mousefur, mistystar, alderheart and ivypool.
for some information about me in real life... i'm an australian in upper high school. art is my passion and i don't want to imagine a world where i can't make it a career option of mine. i'm a 5'4, clumsy, lanky thing and i'm really into reading, creative writing, poetry, astrology and the art of divination (such as tarot). i live a minute's walk from the ocean and i love summer more than anything. my gender fluctuates between being female and agender, and most of the time falls in between that spectrum. so either she/her or they/them pronouns are fine!
if any of you want to shoot me a message or talk to me sometime, feel free to do so! i don't bite and i'm always looking to make new friends.
thank you all for reading this rambling mess, aha!
