Aside from NAW and the as-yet-unnamed CatLang, I have a bizarre love for just acquiring cat books/posters and naming every single one and coming up with random stories about them. As a result, my computer is full of files of allegiances which I will probably never actually DO anything with. If you ever want to borrow/use some random chara, just let me know, they can be yours for the low low price of Just Take Them Off My Hands.
> HillClan, PondClan, and as-yet-unnamed third Clan live on a rough approximation of the interesting parts of my house and surrounding area.
>>HillClan lives essentially in my backyard, which is woods and fields, and their camp is a meadow. They are about equal in land vs water hunting and travel.
>>>The current leader is Ravenstar, who is so old that her mate has retired and her son is considered a senior warrior. The deputy, Leopardheart, is distinctively spotted and very warm in comparison to Ravenstar's no-nonsense attitude. Leopardheart fathered a kit with a loner, and brought said kit into HillClan as an attempt to atone for his breaking the Code. He's quite beloved by his Clanmates nonetheless, and his daughter, Frostheart, takes very much after him in temperament and is a welcome Clanmate. As these Clans are rather new and live close to barn cat populations, this situation isn't unheard of, and there are various domestic genes in the populations- taillessness and one instance of wire-haired fur in Hill, Turkish Van ancestry in Pond.
>>PondClan lives in an area nearby where the former owner dug out lots of ponds for some reason, one of which is stocked with koi. This Clan lives on a spit of land on the farthest pond from human activity, and relies heavily on swimming to get around and find food. They are alone in having to deal with snapping turtles as predators.
>>>The leader is Hollystar, an odd-eyed white tom who is deaf in one ear. He is beloved for his determination and fatherly attitude - being gay, he never desired or fathered any kits, and has functionally taken the whole Clan as his children. His deputy is a former apprentice, Tawnynose, but in actuality a lot is really run by his twin sister, Cherrystream, who is the force to his softness. They have just gained a new medicine cat, who is unusually young and has some trauma in her past. A subplot is that Cherrystream is very domineering over this young MC. PondClan is also home to the current oldest cat in the Clans, Mottlefoot, who is older even than Ravenstar.
>>>PondClan recently took in a former loner, renamed Silverstripe, who has proven herself and been entrusted with an apprentice. She learned of the Clans from her former mate, none other than Leopardheart, but they fell out when he took Frostkit so she fulfilled her warrior dreams by joining another Clan. At some point she encounters her now-grown daughter, sparking off the main plot.
>>The third Clan lives in the bottomlands where invasive bamboo grows thick. They have more extensive rock structures on their territory than the other Clans and as such are better climbers overall. This Clan's leader is very religious and probably hiding something.
